Brach's Turkey Dinner Candy Corn Taste Test

Hey y'all, it's Emily. Today we are doing another snack review, except we are actually trying a new snack. This is the Brach's Turkey Dinner Candy Corn. It sounds just as disgusting as what you're probably imagining. The flavors in this bag are Green Beans, Roasted Turkey, Cranberry Sauce, Ginger Glazed Carrot, Sweet Potato Pie and Stuffing.

I haven't been able to find it at any of my local grocery stores. It's supposed to retail for $2.99 a bag, but I went onto eBay and had it shipped to me from one of the sellers. I ended up paying like $10 for this bag with shipping. It was worth it just to be able to try it.

Turkey Dinner Candy Corn Taste Test

First thing: there's no key on the bag, so nothing tells you which one of these is which flavor. The bag doesn't smell bad. It doesn't smell good. It smells kind of waxy. There are six colors and you have no idea what flavor each color represents.

Cranberry Sauce

Not bad. It probably helps to note that I don't even like candy corn that much. It almost tastes like the berries from Cap'n Crunch Berries. If they sold a bag of just cranberry flavored, I would not be surprised, because that's really not bad.

Sweet Potato Pie

Orange on top, white on the bottom. More of a cinnamon flavor to me than ginger. It wasn't bad. Not great.

Ginger Glazed Carrot

The fully orange one. 100% ginger. Gross. Sweet Potato Pie is definitely better than the Ginger Carrots.

Stuffing

That's disgusting. You know the little flavor pouch in a box of stove top stuffing? They just mixed some waxiness with that flavor pouch and called it stuffing. That one lingers. That's stuck in the back of my throat. All you people online saying "oh, it's not that bad", I don't know what kind of food you eat. It is bad.

Green Beans

Tastes like grass. That's not good. That's not even a little bit good. Starting to regret this $10 bag of disgusting candy corn.

Roasted Turkey

The only thing that freaks me out is that you're putting a meat flavor into candy corn. Y'all, that is really bad. Really, really bad. I had to eat a red one just so I could finish talking through the rest of the video.

Final Thoughts

This is as disgusting as it sounds. The Cranberry one is not that bad, it tastes just like berry-flavored candy corn, and they should put that in the bag by itself. Sweet Potato Pie was fine, just really cinnamon-y. The rest of these are gross, and the flavors are pungent enough that they stick around.
